SUMMARY:Simon Gregorčič Dan 60th Anniversary Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Simon Gregorcic Dan is our club’s big annual event.  This year is extra special being the organization’s 60th Anniversary.  We have a special celebration planned so come join us for some great Slovenian culture\, food\, music\, and fellowship.  Don’t miss out! \nThe day starts 12 o’clock with holy Mass\, followed by a deliciously prepared lunch featuring ‘Primorje’ delicacies. \nA cultural program will begin at 2:30 pm.  Dance performances by Mladi Glas and music entertainment by the Golden Keys Ensemble will be provided. \nIn addition to the celebration\, excellent food and beverages\, June 16 is Fathers Day so come and spend the pleasant afternoon in the company of your dear family\, friends and acquaintances. \n__________ \nDruštvo Simon Gregorčič vas vabi na praznovanje 60.-te obletnice obstoja njihovega društva\, v nedeljo 16. junija. \nPričetek bo ob 12h s sveto mašo; nakar bo sledilo okusno pripravljeno kosilo s primorskimi dobrotami. \nSledil bo kulturni program s pričetkom ob 2:30 popoldan. Po programu nas bo zabavljal ansambel Golden Keys. \nPoleg odlične hrane bo na razpolago tudi vrhunsko primorsko vino ter druga raznovrstna pijača. 16. junij je tudi praznik vseh očetov. Zato pridite in preživite Prijeten popoldan v družbi vam dragih ali pa prijateljev in znancev.

SUMMARY:Button Accordion Championship 2018
DESCRIPTION:The Button Akordion Rocks Slovenian Cultural Club holds a bi-annual accordion championship in Ontario\, Canada. The goal is to spark a revival in the accordion as a cool instrument again\, and hoping to motivate the younger generation to proudly pick up and strap on the accordion like their parents and grandparents did before them with the goal of increasing and surpassing the level of popularity the accordion enjoyed in North America in years gone by. \nThe next championship will be held on August 4th and 5th at our park.
